Pipelines

Monitor and manage Delta Live Tables pipelines with LazyDatabricks

The Pipelines screen lets you monitor and manage Delta Live Tables (DLT) pipelines.

Three-Pane Hierarchy

Press p from any screen to open the Pipelines view. The screen uses a three-pane hierarchy:

  1. Pipelines pane - List of all pipelines
  2. Updates pane - Updates for the selected pipeline
  3. Detail pane - Details of the selected update

Keybindings

EscBack up one pane
rRefresh pipelines list
sStart pipeline update (requires armed, if idle)
SStop pipeline (requires armed, if running)
fFull refresh (requires armed, if idle)

Pipeline States

StateDescription
IDLEPipeline is not running
RUNNINGPipeline update is in progress
FAILEDLast update failed
STOPPINGPipeline is stopping

Starting a Pipeline Update

Starting requires Armed Mode:

  1. Press A to arm
  2. Select an idle pipeline
  3. Press s to start an update

Full Refresh

A full refresh reprocesses all data in the pipeline:

  1. Press A to arm
  2. Select an idle pipeline
  3. Press f for full refresh

Stopping a Pipeline

  1. Press A to arm
  2. Select a running pipeline
  3. Press S (uppercase) to stop

Viewing Update History

  1. Select a pipeline in the Pipelines pane
  2. Press Tab to move to the Updates pane
  3. Navigate updates with arrow keys
  4. Press Tab again to see update details
  5. Press Esc to move back up the hierarchy
